I was recently asked to write a blog entry under the topic of "Should Pets Wear Clothing?"

It was a tough topic. For the most part, I think it is a lame thing to do. I am also a member of the Public Information Committee for the Washington State Veterinary Medical Association, so I decided that if the Seattle Times would like info about pets and clothing, then maybe I should try to write it for them.

After about two weeks of brainstorming, drafting, cutting and re-drafting, my submission was skillfully re-worked into what the paper was looking for in the first place. You can read the article here: Should You Dress Your Pet?

To my mind the best part of the article was edited out. Yes - I know - I wrote an essay, and the paper was asking for Q and A. Okay - so edit me. But here is the best part, posted for you as:

A Tale That 'Tails of Seattle' Missed

Enjoy.
